Slim Down for Summer at Dermatology Associates of Atlanta

As temperatures start to warm up and you begin to bring out the shorts and dresses, the providers of Dermatology Associates of Atlanta want you to feel confident!  In preparation for the summertime, you are invited to a special CoolSculpting® and liposuction lunch and learn event. On Friday, April 12, 2013 from 12 to 2pm, guests can receive 20% off their total quoted price for CoolSculpting®  or 20% off physician fees for lipo when they schedule their appointment at the event.

Event attendees will also have an opportunity to learn about both CoolSculpting® and lipo procedures to find out which treatment is right for them.  CoolSculpting® non-invasive technology uses cold temperatures to reduce fat of the abdomen and flanks with minimal downtime. Liposuction uses laser energy to melt unwanted body fat. Board certified dermatologist and body contouring expert, Dr. Scott Karempelis will be presenting and offering mini-consultations for event attendees.

Dermatology Associates Offers DualSculpting: Dual CoolSculpting for Faster Treatments

You’ve probably heard the phrase “two is better than one” at some point in your life, and Dermatology Associates of Atlanta has set out to guarantee this statement rings true with their additional CoolSculpting® machine. As the first practice in Georgia to offer this method of fat reduction, Dermatology Associates is proud to now be the only Atlanta practice offering two CoolSculpting machines for Dual Cool treatments. By performing DualSculpting treatments, we can provide shorter treatment times for each patient and a more flexible treatment schedule.

CoolSculpting is the perfect, non-invasive solution for eliminating small areas of unwanted fat without liposuction surgery. By using a process called Cryolipolysis™, CoolSculpting freezes the fat within cells beyond viability. Over time, the fat is expelled through the body’s lymphatic system. CoolSculpting is designed for patients who are in good physical condition and have small pockets of fat that just won’t respond to diet and exercise.

Since the process is gradual, patients usually begin noticing results about 2 or 3 months after their initial treatment. Full results, which produce a 20-40% fat reduction, will appear in 4-6 months. Although one treatment will produce evident results, some patients pursue a second treatment to optimize CoolSculpting results. During treatment, the CoolSculpting device is attached to the treatment area and left for a period of time (about an hour per area). Although you may feel a slight pinch and cold when the treatment begins, the targeted area will become numb. You will be able to read, watch a movie, use a laptop, talk on the phone, etc. during treatment.

Some patients have asked why two CoolSculpting machines should matter to them. The CoolSculpting device only treats one area at a time; typically the size of one hand. Although treatment isn’t uncomfortable, it can be tedious for patients who wish to treat multiple areas. With DualSculpting, treatment times can be halved to help get you back to your busy schedule.
