At Dermatology Associates of Atlanta (DAA), we have a wide array of procedures to force time to take a breather and to help you look as young as you feel. At DAA, we offer a wide variety of facial rejuvenation options to reduce the signs of aging.

A few of our injectable options for wrinkles, including Botox® and Dysport® , and facial fillers such as Restylane®, and Sculptra®, are used to take care of problem areas where fine lines and wrinkles are not desired. These products also aim to fill lost volume in the cheeks, lips, or other areas where more volume is sought. Results vary between types of fillers and the severity of the wrinkles corrected, but most will last for six months to one year.

Another choice available to our patients is laser wrinkle removal and correction. Using our Fraxel or SmartXide dot laser, we will safely and painlessly correct some of your more difficult wrinkles and age spots, resulting in a smoother, younger look.

Pellevé™

One of the most common cosmetic concerns we see among our patients is getting rid of wrinkles, fine lines, and other signs of aging; that is why dermatologists and scientists continue to develop new technologies and other ways to help maintain younger looking skin. One such advancement is the development of Pellevé™, the latest wrinkle reduction and skin tightening system available at Dermatology Associates of Atlanta.

The Pellevé™ system works by emitting heat energy that builds up between skin and fat tissue layers on the face and neck, causing the collagen within the skin to contract and firm. The firming of the skin’s collagen results in smoother, tighter skin, less wrinkles, and stimulation of future collagen growth. Unlike existing skin tightening treatments, Pellevé™ requires no anesthesia and patients can continue on with their daily routine right after treatment.

DOT Therapy SmartXide Laser

Where other skin resurfacing and skin rejuvenation services fail, our new DOT therapy outclasses the competition. By creating thousands of microscopic perforations in a “dot” pattern, the skin is allowed to heal more quickly. Most importantly, DOT Therapy with the SmartXide laser is safer than traditional laser resurfacing techniques, including Fraxel. There are no injections, no sedation. Because of the DOT pattern and its flexibility, you can deeply customize your treatment to get the best results possible. As little as twenty minutes are needed for a single facial treatment and you may see significant results in just one week!

Fraxel Laser Treatment

Fraxel Laser Treatment produces thousands of tiny but deep columns of treatment in your skin, known as microscopic treatment zones. This treatment eliminates old epidermal pigmented cells. It also penetrates deep into the dermis. Just as important, though, are the areas of skin the Fraxel laser leaves untouched. For every microscopic zone the laser targets and treats intensively, it leaves the surrounding tissue unaffected and intact. This “fractional” treatment allows the skin to heal much faster than if the entire area were treated at once, using the body's natural healing process to create new, healthy tighter tissue to replace skin imperfections.
