Boo to Wrinkles: Vampire Facelift® for Facial Rejuvenation

A festive treat for facial rejuvenation has arrived at Dermatology Associates of Atlanta. The vampires of Halloween legends known for their pale, lifeless appearance have obviously not undergone the new Vampire Facelift® treatment, which revives dull skin and returns it to youthful, glowing radiance.  The Vampire Facelift® is a non-surgical procedure that combines platelet rich plasma (PRP), which DAA providers have been using for over 15 years, and cosmetic facial fillers to promote new tissue growth. PRP promotes skin healing and collagen production for younger-looking skin and a healthy, lively vivacity.

Vampire Facelift® differs from other facial rejuvenation procedures by utilizing a patient’s own blood to restore damaged skin. Dermatology Associates of Atlanta’s board-certified dermatologist and PRP and dermal filler expert Dr. Ashley Curtis begins the procedure by drawing blood and spinning it at high speeds in a centrifuge, which separates blood cells from growth-inducing platelet rich plasma. DAA has utilized facial fillers for over 35 years for anti-aging purposes, such as Juvéderm® or Belotero Balance®. These fillers are combined with the separated PRP and re-injected into the face to complete the Vampire Facelift® process.

Dr. Ashley Curtis, who performs the procedure, shared: “The Vampire Facelift® benefits patients with volume loss and aging skin from wrinkles, sun damage and loss of skin elasticity.  Since there are many beneficial growth factors present in our own blood, the Vampire Facelift® is a safe procedure used to help stimulate collagen production.  Therefore, the same growth factors have the ability to reduce wrinkles and restore shape and volume around the mouth, the eyes and on the cheeks.  Other benefits from this procedure include minimal downtime and results lasting over a year.”

During the month of October, patients can receive special introductory pricing of $1,400 on Vampire Facelift® treatment from Dr. Curtis.
