Whether you want an all-over, uniform skin rejuvenation or have specific areas you want to “spot treat,” Lumecca™ by InMode may be an ideal option. This new technology at Dermatology Associates of Atlanta (DAA) uses a non-ablative light therapy (meaning that it does not break the skin) called intense pulsed light, or IPL. In this method, a precise type and strength of light is used to deliver controlled heating to the treatment area – a process called photothermolysis. For Lumecca™ patients, the result is a significant improvement in the appearance of age spots, sun damage, spider veins, port wine stains and other vascular lesions, rosacea or facial redness, and freckles.
Your Lumecca™ sessions will be customized to meet your precise needs and aesthetic goals. The procedure can be optimized to your cosmetic concerns as well as your skin tone, and can be safe and effective for nearly any area of the body. With minimal downtime as well as the ability to produce thorough results in fewer appointments than many other options, Lumecca™ can be perfect for those with busy schedules.
